Storemen Specialty walk-ins are custom-designed and handcrafted. Our dexterous crew of engineers constructs the coolers and freezers with heavy wood framing, solid insulation, and embossed aluminum—galvanized and stainless steels are available upon request. Our expanded polystyrene insulation does not lose its R-value like Freon-expanded urethane insulation. Our coolers and freezers are built to last a lifetime!

The durability of our walk-ins can be attributed as much to quality parts as clever design. The heavy doorjamb extends below the frame and is cemented into the floor, lessening damage caused by misguided pallet jacks.

Before we can estimate the cost of your walk-in, we need to know some basic information: the desired dimensions, additional features, etc. To make a price inquiry, download our fax form. Custom-made Replacements

In 36 years of business, we have replaced only one of our own doors. That door--a victim of extreme, repeated abuse from misguided pallet jacks--is a small blemish on an otherwise perfect scorecard. If you are a current customer, it is unlikely you will need a replacement. For new customers, however, SSI can and will build replacement doors and frames for extant coolers and freezers made by other companies.
